You might be familiar with our current CRM which is Toolbox Turbo. This in itself is an impressive system to use. But, we have listened to the feedback from the current Advisers in our network and brought you a whole new level of convenience and functionality with Toolbox Turbo 2.
Here is the rundown on it…
Where It All Began
Our very first CRM was called Toolbox. It now holds the name of Toolbox Classic and was the precursor to the later versions. Toolbox certainly had its uses, but it also earned a reputation of being quite hard to use, very clunky, and functioned as a glorified online filing cabinet.
Obviously we knew that we had to create something better. So the CRM evolved into Toolbox Turbo in December 2017. This is the system that you may be utilising now. It was developed with the mindset that it should be easy to use, practical and scalable for use on any mobile device. Nothing should be more than two clicks (or taps) away.
We wanted the features of this CRM to encompass all the tools that an adviser would use out in the field. So the Dashboard was cleaned up and condensed to only contain the useful features.
It contains:
- Add a Client: where you can add all of your client data
- Find a Client: search for the individual client you are working with at the time
- Activity Tracker: where you manage the entire sales funnel right from when you first meet and there is no contract in place, through to getting the end policies in place
- Campaign Management: easily create and setup campaigns using e-mail or printed letters to keep in touch with your clients
And now the new evolution is ready to launch on Monday the 18th June 2018. Toolbox Turbo 2 has all of the same great features as before, but it has a great new addition to, a Client Report Writing Tool. Some of you will have noticed there is an icon on the dashboard on Turbo that says “Client Advice” coming soon, this icon will be your gateway to this exciting new feature in Turbo!
What is New In Turbo 2?
Turbo 2 brings an exciting new feature that will streamline the whole client process, saving every adviser a significant amount of time for each client. That will add up to a good many hours back into your working week.
So what is it?
Turbo 2 introduces a client reporting writing function. It is not just a way to compare data. This reporting function will streamline the client journey and can help you to operate with less paper if you choose to.
Use the wizard based system to logically step through the process of collecting client data including their assets, liabilities, estate planning, and medical conditions – basically anything that might affect insurance underwriting. Then you move onto looking at the different industry offerings of medical, life, trauma, injury, income protection and every other personal insurance option available.
Once you have completed the process, you can generate a professional, personally branded report for your prospects or customers.

The End To End Process – From 1st Appointment To Sale
It is all well and good describing what the system can do. But you want to know how it can help you in your day to day business right?
Well, we have taken all the best bits from the previous systems that you all loved and improved them. We know you are busy and don’t have time to waste on unnecessary administration, so we have designed this new system to free up more of your time.
Not only can you use the sales pipeline from Turbo 1 to set up and manage your marketing campaigns and individual client communication via email or printed hard copy, but you can now take advantage of the report generation function. Complete the whole client process within Turbo on either your laptop, Tablet or iPad.
As it is a cloud based application, all of your data will be saved as you go. There will be no need for back ups, or disaster recovery measures. You can rest easy and simply pick up where you left off each time you open the CRM.
Answering The Needs Of Our Advisers
How do we know that Turbo 2 is going to be the best adviser CRM in the country? Because we have actively been seeking your feedback through one on one meetings and by demonstrating the system. We have already engaged with many of you, in fact, we may even have spoken about this recently.

You can complete the whole advisory process within the CRM, or you can use your existing forms, upload them and attached them to your client file.
What’s Coming Up?
We love to think ahead at Newpark and we are already planning a mortgage application that will be populated similarly to the features of the insurance report. But that is a story for another article!
