A New System
You may have noticed that the last statement we sent you looked a little different. That is because we have taken the big step to upgrade our systems to the specialised Property Management software, Palace. This will really help us to stay on top of everything going forward and to provide you with all the information you need on your property.
Getting Qualified
There has been a lot of negativity in the media lately regarding Property Managers. Let’s be honest, some have not been operating as they should. But we want to set ourselves apart from other Property Managers in the market. We want to prove that we are honest and trustworthy. Part of that process has been becoming a licensed real estate office. All of our property managers are currently working through the process of becoming qualified.
What does that mean?
Well, they are studying for a Level 4 qualification under mentor David Faulkner of Real IQ. We are very excited about working towards being regulated. We are already over halfway!
Insulation
Another current focus of ours is insulation. You are probably aware that as of 1st July 2019 it will be compulsory for all rental homes to have both ceiling and underfloor insulation. Any landlords who do not comply with the regulation will be liable to pay a fine of up to $4000.
Our recommendation is to get the insulation process completed now, if you have not already. It is better to be prepared ahead of time, as you certainly don’t want to be facing a hefty fine!
