I joined Ronovationz in December 2017.
Before that, I had been trying for some time to invest in the Auckland property market, but I wasn’t sure where to start.
I felt like the properties were overpriced, the market was down, and it just looked like it wasn’t a good time to look into property investment.
My wife and I had previously owned 4 investment properties in Australia. After holding onto them for a few years, we decided to sell them all as they weren’t performing. In the end, we didn’t really reach our goals and the assurances that were given during the purchase.
I learned of Ronovationz through one of the other students. I thought I would go and see what it was all about and whether it was something that could be of interest to me.
Meeting Ron and Linh was a real eye opener.
Their passion combined with their smart and practical approach to property investment was something that really got me interested and excited.
I was put in contact with one of their mortgage brokers and to my amazement, he was able to secure rates and pre-approved loans that were much better than what I was getting through my existing bank.
Now I was ready to go out there and buy properties…
It only took 2 months to buy my first property… it felt like forever! Linh (my property Coach) was amazing! She was always telling me not to worry and to be patient.
The key is getting the right property and it takes time.
Then, one day Linh phoned me and said ‘I’ve got the perfect property for you!’
We went to the auction and it took an hour and half to negotiate the deal. But we, or rather I should say Linh, did it. She closed the deal $245K under the E-Value!! The CV was $1.165M, and we purchased for $920,500.  After renovations it was revalued at $1.310M, a huge $340K net gain.
Two weeks later, she had gone on to secure a second property for my family and I. The CV was $550K and we purchased for $530K. We are currently renovating this property.
Linh has achieved the perfect combination of capital growth and cashflow properties, she has also strategized specifically for my personal portfolio.
I wouldn’t have been able to achieve that without her, skills, commitment and dedication.
